Start Playing
This is a step-by-step guide on how to start playing in Cardroom2. You will also learn how the poker client works, how you find your way around the lobby, how to open and play at a table, and the different features of the table.
Start the Poker Client
Double click the Cardroom2 icon on your desktop. You can always open the poker client from the program files folder on your hard drive.

Log In
Enter your username and password to log in to the poker client. Then click Login.

Terms & Conditions
You have to agree to the Cardroom2 terms and conditions. When you have read and accepted the terms and conditions, click I Agree.

Player Profile
Enter the nickname you wish to use. Your nickname can contain a maximum of nine characters. This is the name shown to other players at the poker table.

Cashier
Your account balance is displayed in the top field. Enter the desired amount of poker chips which you wish to buy and click Buy Chips.

The Lobby
When you are logged in to the poker client and you have transferred money to your poker account the lobby is opened.

Games in the Lobby
In the lobby there are several tabs that show the available games and tournaments.

Under the tabs Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Stud Games, and 5 Card Draw you will find the ring games.
You can choose whether to show all tables or just the Fixed Limit, No Limit, Pot Limit, Practice, and Private tables. Further down on the page you can filter the tables currently full or empty.
The following information is available for each table:
• table name.
• type of limit (No Limit, Pot Limit or Fixed Limit).
• buy-in.
• number of players allowed.
• number of players on waiting list.
• number of players per flop.
• number of hands per hour.
• average pot.
By selecting a table you can view the players seated at the table in the pane on the right as well as any players on the waiting list. You can sign up for the waiting list by clicking Join Waiting List. Open a table by double clicking the table in the lobby or by selecting it and clicking Go to Table.
Tournament Information in the Lobby
You will find information about Cardroom2 tournaments under the tabs Single Tourney and Multi Tourney.

The following information is available for each tournament:
• start time.
• name.
• type of Limit.
• buy-in.
• status - completed, register, waiting, or running.
• number of players currently registered in the tournament.
When selecting a tournament the information is displayed in the pane on the right. For more detailed information, double-click the tournament. This is also how you register for the tournament.
